Initial Meeting

Before searching through targeted listings, we spend the time and energy necessary to understand what our clients want or need in a new residence, including the type of house (single family or townhome, for example), desired geographic area, preferred age, and ideal overall size (square footage or bedroom/bathroom ratio). After listening to their needs, our agents proceed with their research, ultimately providing recommendations.

Next, our agents will explain the purchase process to clients who have not been through it before, including the need to plan to put down a deposit (aka earnest money) and fees that can be expected. If the clients provide their income statements and credit reports, the mortgage preapproval process can become a component of this meeting - our agents can tell the clients the loan amount they likely will qualify for.

School districts are often one of the factors buyers consider when making a final decision on where to purchase a home - for clients with children as well as those who are simply thinking about resale later to other buyers with children. Our agents are very happy to help our clients analyze every school district of concern and direct the clients where to go for additional information on this topic.
